Greg Smith Robotics and Engineering
I am excited for the opportunity to move to Brunswick and teach the robotics and engineering classes at GICCA . I have a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary mathematics education from Shorter College, a Master of Arts degree in mathematics education from Piedmont College, and an Educational Specialist degree in educational administration and supervision from Lincoln Memorial University. I am a 1982 graduate from Armuchee High School in Rome, Georgia.
This is my thirty first year of teaching and I am proud to be a two time teacher of the year in two different systems.. I taught middle and high school mathematics at Adairsville Middle/High School from 1990 until 2012. For the last eight years, I taught the robotics and engineering classes at the Floyd County College and Career Academy in Rome, Georgia. In addition to classroom teaching, I have been active in coaching softball, basketball, track, and football.
