Career Technical Student Organizations

CTSOs are designed to be Co-Curricular and not Extra Curricular.  This means you will see them as an integral part of the pathway you have chosen to pursue.  They are meant to enhance instruction and offer opportunities students would not normally experience in class alone.  Participation in the CTSOs may occur during school AND/OR outside of regular school hours.  Remember that a CTSO is meant to enhance the educational experience and allow you to experience things such as competitive events surrounding technical skills you are learning, leadership skill development and recreational and social experiences meant to teach teamwork and foster a family environment.  All of these skills are much sought after skills in the workplace.  Take advantage of these opportunities by getting involved in the CTSO connected to your pathway.  For more information, see your CTAE teacher at the College & Career Academy.
