This Pathway is designed to give students the basic skills they need to gain employment as an entry level automotive technician. Students will be exposed to automotive preventative maintenance, brakes, steering and suspension, electrical systems, engine repair, engine performance, automatic transmissions, manual transmissions and differentials and automotive HVAC.
Students completing a pathway (2 semesters) can add additional courses or enhance their educational experience with Work Based Learning or Apprenticeships in the local community during school hours for pay.
