Message from the GICCA Foundation CEO

Welcome to the Golden Isles College + Career Academy (GICCA)!  The mission of GICCA is to provide a viable 21st century workforce for Glynn County.  My goal is to create close ties with business and industry, learn what these companies need and work with the Career Academy Leadership to develop Pathways that meet these needs.  

 

GICCA works closely with our other educational partner, Coastal Pines Technical College to ensure students receive college dual-enrollment credit and industry certifications in our Pathways, ensuring our students have the knowledge, experience and credentials required to be successful in today's workforce  

 

Our Career Academy is a vital part of Glynn County's workforce development through the Golden Isles Talent Development Strategy.  As the Workforce Strategy Leader, I work to bring community partners and employers together to create a network to solve the unique workforce challenges of the Golden Isles.  You can learn more about my role and how you too can be involved in the Talent Development Strategy HERE.
