The Golden Isles College and Career Academy (GICCA) Collision Repair Pathway provides students with the creative and technical expertise required to repair, reconstruct, and refinish damaged vehicles.

Program Overview

The curriculum combines advanced technical problem-solving with hands-on mechanical training to safely restore vehicles to factory specifications. 

  • Structure & Sheet Metal Repair: Students learn to analyze structural damage, straighten frames, and repair dents using hand and hydraulic tools. 
  • Welding & Panel Replacement: Instruction covers non-structural automotive welding, and installing body panels, trim, and hardware.
  • Refinishing & Painting: Coursework introduces plastic body repair, custom paint mixing, and professional spraying techniques. 
  • Local Industry Success: Enrolled students can participate in regional SkillsUSA competitive events and leverage local Work-Based Learning opportunities.
