The Golden Isles College and Career Academy (GICCA) Plumbing Pathway equips students with the technical expertise and hands-on skills needed to launch a career in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.

Program Overview

The training track introduces high school students to the foundational science, math, and mechanical practices required by modern trade professionals. 

  • System Design & Installation: Students gain practical experience installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, fixtures, appliances, and distribution systems.
  • Blueprint Reading: Instruction includes analyzing system schematics, understanding layout design, and conducting final testing. 
  • Industry Safety Protocols: Coursework heavily emphasizes safety training, covering tool handling, electrical safety, and building codes. [
  • Local Career Opportunities: Enrolled students can leverage Work-Based Learning or transition into specialized technical courses at nearby Coastal Pines Technical College.
