The Golden Isles College and Career Academy (GICCA) Plumbing Pathway equips students with the technical expertise and hands-on skills needed to launch a career in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.

Program Overview

The training track introduces high school students to the foundational science, math, and mechanical practices required by modern trade professionals.

System Design & Installation: Students gain practical experience installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, fixtures, appliances, and distribution systems.
Blueprint Reading: Instruction includes analyzing system schematics, understanding layout design, and conducting final testing.
Industry Safety Protocols: Coursework heavily emphasizes safety training, covering tool handling, electrical safety, and building codes. [
Local Career Opportunities: Enrolled students can leverage Work-Based Learning or transition into specialized technical courses at nearby Coastal Pines Technical College.
